6 Mar 2007 - Special General Meeting
A special General Meeting is to be held at Leigh Miners Welfare, Twist Lane, Leigh on Tuesday, 3rd April 2007 at 8:30pm
Subject for discussion:
The matter of our continued membership within the organisation of the British Amateur Rugby League Association (BARLA)
Background Information:
As a consequence of our late payment and subsequent offers to pay being refused, our association had had the ability to conduct affairs on behalf of our members reduced to that of non-voting member. Despite various attempts of your management the BARLA board of management refuses to negotiate. We therefore are left with no option other than to ask the membership for a vote on this proposal.
The proposal:
We leave BARLA and conduct our own affairs as an autonomous association of coaches
Attendance:
All clubs MUST attend the SGM as per AGM rules, non-attendance will be subject to a £30 fine.
